Hello & Welcome

Several years ago I bought a camera to to take pictures of my family and vacations, like most people do. After taking pictures for a few years I noticed that every now and then I would take a picture that really stood out from the rest and I wanted to know why. What made this picture look so much better than the other hundreds of pictures that I took, and how can I make more of my pictures look like this? This was the start of my photography journey.

That journey has been ongoing for a few years now. It has involved me taking thousands of pictures, photography classes, taking more pictures, buying better (and more expensive) equipment, taking even more pictures, more photography classes, and even more pictures. And now today, while I take much better pictures, I still find that every now and then I get a moment where I take a fantastic picture that just amazes me.

Maybe it's the color of the eyes, the smile, a moment of humor caught at just the right moment, the look of determination as an athlete makes their way downfield with the ball, or the genuine look of love and adoration between a couple. Finding these moments in a photo has become a passion for me.

Hi!

I'm Ray Fischels. Photography is a passion of mine and I devote a lot of my spare time to it. I started out a number of years ago taking photos of my daughters soccer games. I particularly enjoy High School Sports Photography. I also enjoy portraiture, especially of families, children and High School Seniors.

After learning as much as I could over the last few years, I decided to start this business to continue to improve my photography skills and of course, to help pay my way as I go (If you're looking for an inexpensive hobby, photography is not the way to go).
